Starting against Belgium, Atlas Lions goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was replaced at the last minute. What could explain this absence?
While he was present on the field to sing the national anthem, Moroccan international Yassine Bounou withdrew just before the kick-off of the Morocco-Belgium match, which ended in a victory for the Atlas Lions (2-0). The last-minute absence of the goalkeeper would be explained by dizziness, reports BeIN Sport. Information not yet confirmed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
After their victory over the Red Devils, the Atlas Lions are currently first in Group F and are thus getting closer to the round of 16.
