Belgium Seeks World Cup Knockout Stage Berth Against Morocco After Narrow Canada Win

After the very difficult victory over Canada, Belgium is aiming for qualification for the second round of the competition against Morocco. The Red Devils will face the Atlas Lions next Sunday, in a match counting for the second day of the group stage.
Thibaut Courtois, the last line of defense of the Belgian team, was one of the architects of this victory. The goalkeeper managed to keep his goal intact, allowing Belgium to win 1-0. After this success, he spoke about their first outing and the challenges in Group F which, according to him, were "underestimated" and that the teams playing there were strong.
Looking ahead to the rest of the competition, the Real Madrid goalkeeper is already looking ahead to the match against Morocco, assuring that Belgium will only have eyes for the three points against the Atlas Lions. "If you win on Sunday in the next game, you qualify. We have to be first on the ball, stay calm... the first games are always complicated. In football, the easy games are over," he said.
These words were confirmed by his teammate Eden Hazard, who assured that the players would show a new face against Morocco, to validate their passage to the round of 16 as early as Sunday.
