Belgium’s Eden Hazard Warns of Tough Challenge Against Morocco in World Cup Clash

Morocco plays its second match of the 2022 Qatar World Cup against Belgium this Sunday, November 27, 2022. Eden Hazard, captain of the Red Devils, assures that the match will be "complicated".
After obtaining a draw against Croatia, Morocco is preparing to cross swords with Belgium, who narrowly beat Canada on Wednesday. Eden Hazard, captain of the Red Devils, is aware of the stakes. "Morocco showed in the first match that they can play well. It’s a good team, with great players who can make the difference at any time. It will be a complicated match, like against Canada. We will have to start well, be ready and score quickly. Both teams will be under pressure, but a different pressure: we can qualify and they have to win a first match," he said at a press conference in Doha on Saturday.
A few days earlier, the Belgian striker had stated that the Red Devils are less strong than in 2018. "We shouldn’t hide. We are less strong than in 2018. But we have better young people than in Russia. Anything can happen. The quality is there. Often, in big matches, this quality makes the difference. Real Madrid was not the only favorite in the Champions League. But Karim (Benzema) scored all the important goals and Thibaut (Courtois) saved everything. It was the dream year," he had said in an interview with L’Équipe.
