Morocco’s Mazraoui Ruled Out for Crucial World Cup Match Against Belgium

He will not play after all. Noussair Mazraoui is out for the second group stage match of the World Cup that the Atlas Lions must play against Belgium on Sunday at 2pm.
Walid Regragui will have to do without his Bayern Munich defender. Mazraoui will not be part of the squad that will face the Red Devils. On Wednesday, he suffered an injury to his left flank during the clash against Croatia (0-0).
The medical examination results have come in and the staff have confirmed his absence against Belgium. The national team hopes to have Mazraoui for their last group stage match against Canada on December 1st.
Meanwhile, Achraf Hakimi, who was also injured in the thigh during the same match, could well be present against the Red Devils.
