Morocco Extends Fuel Subsidy to Road Transporters Amid Rising Costs

Faced with the high cost of fuel, the Moroccan government has decided to grant a new tranche of the subsidy that allows road transporters to cope with the fluctuation of prices.
On Wednesday during a press conference, the delegate minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesman, said that the 8th tranche of aid to road transporters will be granted, and that the amount will be calculated according to the prevailing fuel prices.
It was last March that the government, faced with the anger of road transporters, decided to help them so that the high cost of fuel is not an obstacle to transport operations and the financing of markets and construction sites.
