Morocco Considers Approval of China’s Inhaled Covid-19 Vaccine for Booster Doses

The Moroccan authorities are said to have approved the use of the new Covid-19 vaccine inhaled by the Chinese laboratory CanSino Biologics. However, the announcement of the green light has not yet been confirmed by the Ministry of Health.
The information was provided by the laboratory, stressing that after China, it is Morocco’s turn to approve the administration of the new Convidecia Air™ vaccine. This vaccine, the first in the world to be administered nasally via a spray, could be used to urgently administer booster doses.
According to the explanations, the vaccine inoculation process consists of atomizing the vaccine into tiny particles with an atomizer and sipping the vaccine through the mouth. Only people who have already been vaccinated with traditional vaccines can use it, as it has been developed to serve as a booster dose only.
"The vaccine can be transported and stored stably between +2°C and +8°C, which can more effectively facilitate the vaccination of high-risk groups on a large scale and improve the accessibility of vaccines in several countries," the same source points out.
It should be noted that this new vaccine has received approval from the World Health Organization (WHO). It is the ninth Covid-19 vaccine or vaccine variation to receive this precious WHO seal of approval.
