Morocco Set to Receive First Shipment of Russian Sputnik V COVID-19 Vaccine

After receiving the batch of anti-Covid vaccine from the Chinese Sinopharm laboratory, Morocco is about to receive its first doses of the Russian vaccine. This is what sources from the Ministry of Health have confirmed.
On Monday, Morocco received a batch of anti-Covid-19 vaccine. In total, 500,000 doses of the vaccine from the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm were transported to the Autonomous Refrigeration Company (RAFC) in Casablanca for storage before distribution. A Royal Air Maroc plane ensured the transport of this batch of vaccine to the kingdom.
Morocco should receive another batch of vaccine on April 30, confirm sources from the Ministry of Health. These are the Sputnik V vaccine doses. No details have been provided so far on the quantity to be received.
With these new deliveries, the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus can continue normally. As of April 26, 4.73 million people have received the first injection, while 4.21 million people have received the second dose.
