Morocco Clinches 6 Medals at African Artistic Gymnastics Championship, Secures World Championship Spot

Morocco achieved a remarkable performance at the recent African Artistic Gymnastics Championship for seniors and juniors, winning six medals. Here is the assessment of this 2022 edition.
The African Artistic Gymnastics Championship ended on July 11 in Egypt, after four days of competition. The Moroccan delegation left with six medals.
According to the assessment, only Abderrazzak Nasser was awarded the gold by outclassing his opponents in the Pommel Horse event (seniors), thus qualifying for the World Championship scheduled for this year in Liverpool. Zakaria Setti won the bronze medal in the same event.
For his part, Achraf Kistas won the silver medal in the Vault, while Taha Kabouri won the bronze in the same discipline. As for Abderrazak Nasser, he won a bronze medal in the Parallel Bars event.
Furthermore, the Moroccan women’s team (juniors), composed of Inas Laabouri, Chourouk El Annabi and Rihab Sebti, won the bronze medal in the team event, behind Egypt and South Africa.
