Morocco Celebrates 66 Years of Independence with Google Doodle Tribute

To celebrate the 66th anniversary of Morocco’s independence on November 18, Google has created a "doodle" in the colors of the national emblem.
On the occasion of the celebration of Moroccan Independence Day, the famous search engine has highlighted the Moroccan flag on its home page. Clicking on the image provides a wealth of information about this key date in Morocco’s history.

"We are pleased to announce the end of the guardianship and protectorate regime and the advent of freedom and independence," said the late HM Mohammed V in his speech on November 18, 1955, announcing the end of the protectorate and the liberation of the country. "Morocco is coming out of the small jihad to engage in the great jihad," he specified.
