Israel’s Foreign Minister Extends Independence Day Wishes to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has presented his congratulations to the Moroccan people and to King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the celebration of the kingdom’s independence.
Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, respectively Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, congratulated Thursday King Mohammed VI on the 66th anniversary of Morocco’s independence. In a message imbued with fraternity, they wished prosperity and peace to the kingdom and its sovereign.
"Happy Independence Day to King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people. May the coming year bring peace, prosperity and more cooperation between our two countries," Bennett said in an English-language tweet. "We look forward to working together for a better future for all of us. Happy Independence Day to the Kingdom of Morocco," he added.
"Happy Independence Day to His Majesty the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI and to my Moroccan counterpart, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita as well as the Moroccan people," Yair Lapid wrote in a tweet in Arabic.
It should be recalled that November 18 of each year, Morocco commemorates its independence won in 1955.
