Morocco: here are the best-selling cars
The Moroccan automotive market recorded a historic record in 2025 with 235,372 sales, an increase of 33.43%. This exceptional dynamism is based on a recovery in demand and an unprecedented expansion of the offer. This annual performance, driven by the private and utility segments, confirms the renewed vitality of the sector.
Passenger vehicles dominate the market with 208,848 registrations, while light commercial vehicles show a 37.70% increase. The year ended with a robust December, totaling more than 27,000 units sold. This sustained growth benefits all operators, driven by constant demand from households and professionals until the end of the year.
The Dacia Logan remains the best-selling model with 18,282 units, ahead of the Sandero and the Renault Clio. The ranking also highlights the Renault Express and the growing success of SUVs like the Hyundai Tucson. Geographically, Casablanca captures 40.4% of sales, while secondary cities like Taza or Dakhla record significant increases.
The year 2025 also sees the emergence of electric vehicles, a segment led by BYD with the Seagull. The arrival of new international manufacturers has helped diversify the ranges and prices offered to consumers.
