Three individuals suspected of links with the terrorist group Daesh were arrested this morning in northern Morocco. They were planning terrorist operations in the Kingdom.
During the searches carried out this morning by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ), electronic devices, bladed weapons including swords, a machete, a hatchet and a spear, as well as two shotguns, ammunition, military uniforms, sketches of firearms and manuscripts praising the extremist ideology were seized.
Batteries and electrical cables as well as a quantity of sulfur were also seized on Tuesday in Nador and Driouch.
For the ministry, this operation confirms "the continued terrorist threats and the determination of the followers of "Daesh" to carry out the agenda of this organization through terrorist acts."
