Morocco Dismantles ISIS-Linked Terror Cell: 13 Arrested in Multi-City Raid

Thirteen people, including two former detainees, alleged members of a terrorist cell were arrested this morning in several cities by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ).
Aged 22 to 44, these individuals were arrested in Kelâa Sraghna, Salé, Casablanca and Mohammedia, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
According to the initial investigations, the members of this cell affiliated with the terrorist group Daesh "have adhered to the propaganda of this terrorist organization and its extremist discourses, while considering the execution of terrorist operations that threaten the security of persons and public order," the ministry said, adding that they have all been taken into custody under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
