ISIS Supporter Arrested in Southern Morocco Following Terror Cell Bust

An individual with links to the terrorist group dismantled by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) on Tuesday morning in Salé was arrested the same day in Dakhla, in southern Morocco.
"The investigations and research carried out on the terrorist cell loyal to the so-called ’Islamic State’ organization, dismantled on Tuesday morning in Salé, led to the arrest in Dakhla, in coordination with the security services of this city, of another element suspected of maintaining links with the members of this cell," says a statement from the BCIJ, which however provides no further details on the suspect.
On Tuesday morning, six people were arrested in Salé. According to a statement released by the Ministry of the Interior, they were "at an advanced stage for the execution of terrorist operations in the Kingdom". Its members had pledged allegiance to the self-proclaimed caliph of "Daesh", it was stated.
During the searches carried out in their homes, the police seized several electronic devices, bladed weapons including cleavers and knives as well as extremist manuscripts, the BCIJ said.
