Moroccan Star Selim Amallah Cements Key Role in Standard Liège’s Strong Season Start

Announced on the verge of leaving last August, Moroccan international Selim Amallah has managed to dispel doubts about his performance and abilities. He has helped Standard Liège get off to a good start to the season, thus becoming a player to count on.
Sidelined in the first matches of the season against Genk and Zulte Waregem, Selim Amallah has made his comeback in recent weeks. He has become in a few days the man who must not be separated from. "To be in rhythm, you have to play matches. And it’s coming back. I think I’ve shown the coach that I have my place in the team. And I’m back," reports La Capitale.
"I don’t like to leave my best players on the sidelines, but the interests of the team come first," Mbaye Leye had said, whose relationship with Salim Amallah had somewhat deteriorated. But the starting of the Moroccan player is proof that on a professional level, the two men have decided to make efforts for the good of the team. The Moroccan player is aware of his situation and is giving himself the means to succeed.
With Standard, Selim Amallah has scored 26 goals and provided 15 assists in 73 matches played, in all competitions combined. 13 of these 41 actions have directly earned 17 points for his team.
