Moroccan Star Selim Amallah Named Standard Liège’s Player of the Month
After being elected in 2020 as the best Arab player in the Jupiler Pro League, the Moroccan international, Selim Amallah, has just been named player of the month by Standard de Liège.
With 4 goals scored in 5 games played this season, the Atlas Lion stood out from his other teammates, receiving the award for best player of the month of August within the Belgian club. Since he joined the sports team, he has not been slow to prove himself, becoming an essential piece that the club can no longer do without today.
Selim Amallah feels good with Standard de Liège, even refusing all the offers that have been made to him by European clubs such as Augsburg, Olympiacos and the Turkish Besiktas. The Moroccan player preferred to continue with the Belgian club with the certainty of having playing time to allow him to be fit for the World Cup.
