Moroccan Star Romain Saïss Faces Uncertain Future at Beşiktaş Amid Tactical Disputes

Romain Saïss would be close to leaving Beşiktaş in Istanbul. The captain of the Moroccan national football team would not have succeeded in assimilating the game strategy of the Turkish club.
Transferred in June 2022 after six years at Wolverhampton in England, Moroccan international Romain Saïss had joined Beşiktaş, happy to have new experiences in another championship. But nine months later, his stay in Turkey does not seem to be up to his expectations.
Differences have appeared very quickly with the Beşiktaş coach, Şenol Güneş, who blames him for not respecting the tactical directives given to him. The latter has already planned to part ways with the Moroccan defender next season. Even if that were the case, Romain Saiss will have no trouble finding another club, as he is one of the Moroccan players in demand after the World Cup held in Qatar last year.
With the Turkish club, Romain Saïss has played 17 matches and provided one assist. He had been recruited for a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
