Morocco’s World Cup Star Romain Saïss Attracts Interest from Marseille and European Clubs
Many clubs want to secure the services of Moroccan international Romain Saïss, one of the architects of the historic exploits of the Atlas Lions at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Among them, Olympique de Marseille (OM).
In search of an experienced player to strengthen its defensive compartment, Olympique de Marseille (OM) would consider recruiting the captain of the Atlas Lions, Romain Saïss, reports the Turkish media Fotomac, adding that he would also be on the radar of other clubs. These clubs are: LOSC, Valencia, Villarreal and Bologna.
This interest in the defender of the Turkish club Besiktas is explained by his good performances at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. FIFA had attributed the first goal of Morocco against Belgium to him. With his teammates, they were able to beat great football nations like Belgium, Portugal and Spain to clinch Morocco’s first-ever semi-final qualification in a World Cup. Romain Saïss is certainly one of the best defenders of the competition.
