Moroccan Soccer Stars Nordin and Sofyan Amrabat Join Homecoming Surge in Operation Marhaba 2022

Moroccan players Nordin and Sofyan Amrabat were spotted smiling at the Tanger Med port as part of Operation Marhaba 2022, launched on June 5 in several cities in Morocco.
For the two Moroccan internationals Nordin and Sofyan Amrabat, it is a joy to be able to take advantage of this opportunity offered to Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) to return to the country to see their loved ones or to spend the holidays.
This year, the authorities have made changes to allow MREs to be welcomed in good conditions and with many facilities. This is why many of them are opting for a return to the country, especially since some have not been able to do so due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to the imposition of many restrictive measures, including the closure of borders.
"After these last two years marked by the health crisis, the Tanger Med Passengers port is ready to start Operation Marhaba 2022, under the supervision of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, and to welcome the MREs in the best conditions," had stressed Kamal Lakhmas, the director of the Tanger Med Passengers port.
