Tottenham Renews Interest in Moroccan Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat for Summer Transfer

After an initial failed transfer, Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is again on Tottenham’s radar.

Spurs coach Antonio Conte intends to recruit new midfielders this summer to strengthen his team, reports The Telegraph. Among them, the Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat whom his club had wanted to have in his squad in January, before preferring to sign Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus Turin.

This information is confirmed by Foot Mercato. Fabio Paratici, general manager of football at the London club of Tottenham Hotspur, has been monitoring the Moroccan player for "several years" and would be ready to bring him to north London, the same source reveals. It remains to be seen whether the Fiorentina player is ready to leave his club.
