Moroccan Nurse and Accomplice Arrested in COVID Vaccine Pass Fraud Scheme

A nurse and an intermediary were arrested on Friday by the elements of the judicial police service of Tangier. They would be involved in a case of manipulation of the vaccination system.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) reports that these suspects, aged 37 and 63, were arrested in the act of corruption and manipulation of Covid-19 vaccination results.
The intermediary was caught as he was about to pay an amount of 7,000 dirhams to the nurse, who works at the vaccination center in the "Brans" district of Tangier, in exchange for facilitating the obtaining of the health pass by a group of beneficiaries, whose identities are still unknown.
Pending the conclusion of the investigation opened to determine the degree of involvement of each and to arrest any possible accomplices, the two suspects were placed in custody.
