Moroccan Expats Must Pre-Book Ferry Tickets for Return Travel, Tanger Med Port Announces

Tanger Med has informed MREs that as part of the return phase of the Marhaba 2022 operation, they will have to obtain, before going to the port, a return ticket issued by their shipping company, specifying a firm date and time of travel.
Arrangements have been made to allow Moroccans living abroad, who came on vacation to Morocco, to return to their country of residence without difficulty, according to a press release from the Tanger Med port authority.
In this sense, the management has invited MREs to buy return tickets in advance. They are also invited to consult the traffic forecasts available on the website and the mobile application, and to plan their return to avoid significant waiting periods, especially the high traffic period from August 25 to 30, 2022.
To facilitate the procedures, communication tools have been deployed to allow passengers to stay permanently informed about the arrangements made by the port, including social networks, the website, the mobile application and the Tanger Med radio.
