Moroccan Crown Prince Expands Role in International Diplomacy
The heir apparent, Moulay Hassan, sees his responsibilities increase. The young prince is no longer limited to national events and now takes on a leading diplomatic role.
Under the watchful eye of his father, King Mohammed VI, he has been tasked with welcoming several heads of state and foreign envoys to Morocco. The weekly Al Ousboue Essahafi cites in particular the reception of the Saudi Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz. More recently, he also welcomed the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
These new functions mark an important step in the prince’s preparation for his future role as king. Al Ousboue Essahafi emphasizes his success in all the tests related to the conduct of state affairs. The prince would have particularly distinguished himself over the past year, becoming an indispensable figure in 2024.
Increasingly present on the public scene, Moulay Hassan is arousing growing interest among Moroccans. His assurance and maturity, worthy of a statesman, are attracting the attention of the national and international media. The young prince already seems very at ease.
