Morocco’s Crown Prince Moulay Hassan Gains Massive Social Media Following

Moulay Hassan enjoys great popularity on social media. Several accounts have been created on Facebook, Instagram and even TikTok to share news about the heir to the Moroccan throne. The posts on the pages of the eldest son of King Mohammed VI and Princess Lalla Salma generate a lot of interest, reports El Debate. His story, his accession to the throne have particularly captured the attention of Internet users.

On TikTok for example, Moulay Hassan’s videos reach up to 1.5 million views. On Instagram, the heir to the Moroccan throne has more than 10 profiles dedicated to him, some of which are followed by more than 200,000 subscribers. These accounts feature images of intimate moments of the crown prince with the royal family and photos of his official appearances in Morocco and abroad.

Moulay Hassan is also present on Facebook. On this social network, the publications are shared with a restricted group of people. Soufiane El Bahri, administrator "of the pages of King Mohammed VI on social networks", is in charge of the crown prince’s account.
