Marrakech Tops French Holiday Destinations for All Saints’ Day 2024

Despite a growing enthusiasm for distant destinations, Morocco retains a special place in the hearts of the French for the All Saints’ Day holidays in 2024.
According to the travel comparator Liligo, Porto and Lisbon are climbing to the top of the most sought-after cities, with increases of 23% and 26% respectively compared to the previous year.
While Marrakech emerges as the favorite destination of the French, it is clear that Europe is resisting the appeal of long-haul flights. Rome and London are still among the most popular cities, showing increases of 6% and 8%.
Liligo, however, notes an evolution in travel habits: only four European destinations are included in the top 10 this year, compared to six in 2023. The drop in airfares to destinations such as Saint-Denis de la Réunion, Istanbul, New York, Tunis or Bangkok partly explains this phenomenon.
