Marrakech Tops French Holiday Getaways as Airfares Plummet
According to flight search data for the All Saints’ Day holidays published by a price comparison site, a Moroccan city remains the preferred destination for the French.
Many French people want to spend the All Saints’ Day holidays abroad. According to recent data from the Liligo price comparison site, about 11% of them plan to leave between October 18 and November 3, 2025. Marrakech remains at the top of the most searched destinations. The Moroccan city is followed by Porto, Lisbon and Istanbul. The French are attracted to these destinations because there is a general drop in airfare prices. They are recording a decline in fares ranging from 2% to 11% compared to last year.
Long-haul destinations also interest the French. The simple reason: these destinations are seeing their prices drop again for the second consecutive year. These are Bangkok (an average of 811 euros for a round-trip ticket in Economy class) and Saint-Denis de La Réunion (866 euros). Non-Western European cities have also been very popular with the French for the All Saints’ Day holidays. Hong Kong is up 162%, Muscat (+121%) or Buenos Aires (+82%).
