Marrakech Tops French Travel Searches for Fall Getaways, Kayak Reports

Marrakech is the most sought-after destination by the French for autumn trips and the All Saints’ school holidays (October 19 to November 3), according to the ranking of a flight search engine.
The ochre city tops the top 10 of this ranking. It is followed by Bangkok and Tokyo, respectively second and third. The island of Réunion occupies the 5th position, ahead of Bali, sixth and Rome, Lisbon and London which are housed in the 7th, 8th and 9th places. Montreal closes this list of the 10 most popular destinations for French travelers this fall according to Kayak.fr. All destinations combined, Spain is the country most sought after by French travelers this fall, followed by Italy and France.
Flight prices are more affordable this fall compared to the same period last year, the search engine notes, with a 19% drop in ticket prices for Tokyo and 16% for Bali. On the other hand, ticket prices for Rome, Lisbon and London recorded an increase of 10%, 18% and 4% respectively compared to 2023. While international round-trip economy class flight prices fell by 9% compared to 2023, domestic flight prices have risen by 9%, according to Kayak.
