Marhaba 2026 Baleària MRE ferry service Morocco

For the next Marhaba operation, running from mid-June to mid-September, maritime carrier Baleària is planning an unprecedented summer service. Twelve ships will operate up to 37 daily connections to Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla.

To meet the massive demand generated by these major departures, the Spanish company is concentrating its capacity on the Moroccan market, a route that attracted nearly one million passengers last year. Service frequency is increasing with twelve daily rotations on the Tarifa-Tangier City route, where a larger-capacity ferry will replace the usual fast ship.

The line connecting Algeciras to Tangier Med will benefit from nine crossings spread throughout the day to streamline boarding, while an average of three daily trips is planned between Almería and Nador. The autonomous cities are also benefiting from this reinforced network: two ships will guarantee eleven routes to Ceuta, and up to two shuttles will serve Melilla depending on observed demand.
