Operation Marhaba (MRE): a new maritime line between Morocco and Spain

The Africa Morocco Link company successfully completed the technical voyage of its new connection between Nador and Almería. A decisive step before the official launch of this highly anticipated route for the next Operation Marhaba (MRE).

Preparations are accelerating as summer approaches. A vessel from the operator recently docked at the port of Nador to conduct thorough technical trials. This operation confirms the imminent opening of this strategic Mediterranean corridor. To ensure rotations, the company will notably deploy the ferry Stena Europe. This vessel has a capacity of 1,500 passengers and 400 vehicles, offering comfort and safety guarantees for the diaspora and tourists.

It offers a concrete alternative to travelers facing strong summer demand, strengthening the kingdom’s position as a bridge between Europe and Africa.
