Manchester United Divided Over Potential Hakim Ziyech Transfer from Chelsea

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is on the radar of Manchester United’s current coach, Erik ten Hag. But this choice is far from unanimous.
According to French journalist Nabil Djellit, coach Erik ten Hag wants Manchester United to sign Chelsea’s attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech, but the members of the club’s recruitment department are not unanimous on the Moroccan international’s profile, reports Get French Football News. Consequently, a potential agreement is not on the agenda.
Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag knows the Chelsea star well, as he was coach of Ajax Amsterdam. Hakim Ziyech had experienced glory within the Dutch club for three years before joining Chelsea’s squad in the summer of 2020 as part of a 35 million euro contract. He failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. The Moroccan winger only played 14 out of 38 Premier League matches last season. He has scored 14 goals in 83 matches and won the Champions League, the Club World Cup and the Super Cup.
