Ajax Amsterdam in Talks to Bring Back Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech
While he is on the radar of AC Milan and Manchester United, Hakim Ziyech could quietly return to his former club: Ajax Amsterdam.
One thing is certain, Hakim Ziyech will leave Chelsea this summer, but for what destination? That remains a mystery. The media had already seen him at AC Milan or Manchester United, given the notable progress in the negotiations. But this end of the summer transfer window is likely to surprise, as the Moroccan player could ultimately dribble past the first two clubs and return to the Netherlands. This is what Dutch journalist Gerjan Hamstelaar reports.
Negotiations would have started since Sunday, for a loan with an option to buy. Hakim Ziyech arrived at Chelsea in 2020 for 40 million euros. But he has not lived up to the hopes placed in him. In 44 appearances last season, he scored only 8 goals and provided 6 assists.
