Tottenham Eyes Chelsea’s Ziyech as Ajax Deal Falters

Ajax Amsterdam no longer considers the return of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech. An opportunity for Tottenham who wants to recruit the attacking midfielder from Chelsea and is eager to engage in discussions with his club.
Ajax needs to sign Hakim Ziyech again to replace Antony, targeted by Manchester United, but the negotiations with Chelsea are likely to fall through, reports Daily Mail. They have made little progress. The Dutch club is therefore considering recruiting other players. A boon for Tottenham who has recently entered the race to sign the Moroccan international.
Hakim Ziyech is on the Spurs’ radar, reports the Dutch media AD. Italian technician Antonio Conte is looking for an experienced striker and is showing interest in the Atlas Lion. Tottenham will, however, have to bet big to convince Chelsea’s management to let their attacking midfielder go.
