Tottenham Eyes January Move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is still in Tottenham’s sights. Having failed to poach him during the summer transfer window that ended on September 1, the English club has promised to come back in January for the next transfer window.
Chelsea could not free Ziyech this summer. Despite numerous offers, no agreement was reached. As a result, the Moroccan player finds himself stuck at Chelsea with the possibility of often being on the bench. Among the clubs that have shown interest in him, there is Tottenham who has promised to launch a new recruitment attempt in January, according to Todo Fichajes.
For many observers, Chelsea is no longer the right club for Ziyech, even if he is still in the good graces of some who think he still has all his chances to thrive there. Others prefer his return to Ajax, a club he knows well for having spent the best moments of his career there.
We’ll have to wait until January to know the player’s next destination. L’Indépendant leans towards Ajax while Sky Sports thinks that the AC Milan, who were strongly cited this summer, could come back in force during the winter transfer window.
While Hakim Ziyech is struggling to position himself, Chelsea has broken its piggy bank this summer to recruit new players such as Raheem Sterling, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and many others.
