Manchester United Eyes Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech in Potential Summer Transfer

Manchester United could make an offer to Chelsea to recruit Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, who the English club is willing to let go this summer.
Arrived from Ajax in the summer of 2020 as part of a 35 million euro contract in 2020, Hakim Ziyech has failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. He only started 14 out of 38 Premier League games last season. The Moroccan winger has scored 14 goals in 83 games and won the Champions League (championship), the Club World Cup and the Super Cup. Performances that are far from convincing the new Chelsea president to keep him. For his part, the Moroccan international has already expressed the desire to leave his club this summer.
Therefore, several destinations are available to him. In addition to AC Milan, which has started negotiations with the English club, which have not yet been successful, Manchester United could make an offer, says transfer journalist Dean Jones. "Ziyech’s transfer to AC Milan has stuttered a bit and if this situation drags on, let’s not rule out the idea that Ten Hag is looking to take him to United," he said in a statement to GiveMeSport. Manchester United had a difficult season and is looking to improve.

The new Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag knows the Chelsea star well. He was the coach of the Dutch club Ajax, where Hakim Ziyech had shone for several years.
