Kickboxing Rivals Badr Hari and Rico Verhoeven to Coach New Talents in ’House of GLORY’ Series

Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari and his all-time rival, Rico Verhoeven, will face each other, this time as coaches of new talents, in House of GLORY, a new program that will be broadcast on Videoland.
The two famous kickboxers will each have a team of young welterweight (77 kg) fighters. Registrations will open in the coming days. The launch date of the program is not yet known.
Badr Hari last fought more than six months ago. The 38-year-old Dutch-Moroccan champion had then said he was seriously considering retiring. Rico Verhoeven, for his part, has been the Glory heavyweight world champion for years. His last fight dates back to October 2021.
The Dutchman is recovering from a serious knee injury that prevented him from defending his title against Croatian Antonio Plazibat last spring. He should probably get back in the ring at the end of this year. Badr Hari and Rico Verhoeven faced each other in 2016 and 2019. The Moroccan lost these two fights due to injury.
