Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Set for September Comeback in Paris Glory Event

Badr Hari is back. Contrary to expectations, the Moroccan champion will make his comeback at Glory on September 9 in Paris.
Hari will be the main event of the evening and will face British kickboxer James McSweeney, aged 42. Badr Hari’s return was announced on Saturday evening during the Glory 86 kickboxing event in Essen.
According to the organization, the winner will qualify for the Glory Grand Prix, an eight-man tournament that will take place in December. The winner of the Glory Grand Prix will win half a million dollars.
Glory also announced on Saturday that Badr Hari and Rico Verhoeven will participate in a program on Videoland, in which they will face each other as coaches of young kickboxers.
Badr Hari had announced last October, after his defeat against Alistair Overeem, that he was considering ending his kickboxing career. The champion seems not quite ready to stop after all.
