Badr Hari Returns to Paris for Crucial Glory 88 Heavyweight Bout

Moroccan champion Badr Hari will face British fighter James McSweeney at the Dôme de Paris-Palais des Sports this Saturday, September 9, as part of Glory 88.
The two champions will clash for a qualification to the heavyweight Grand Prix of the organization, a competition scheduled for December where the winner could pocket $500,000.
The event is all the more significant for fans of this combat sport, as seeing Badr Hari fight in France is quite rare. At 38 years old and with a record of 106 wins including 92 KOs, 17 losses and 2 draws, the Moroccan kickboxer is probably nearing the end of his career. But he seems determined to prove that he still has his place in the ring, especially after the controversy surrounding his last fight against Alistair Overeem, which was canceled due to a positive doping test by the latter.
The clash is organized in partnership between LSFC and Glory, and is part of the LSFC 2 x Glory 88 program. This duel is the "main event" of the evening and promises to be one of the highlights of the year. For Badr Hari, often cited among the headliners of the kickboxing world, the stakes are high as it could be one of the last major fights of his career.
