The verdict was considerably harsher at Maxifoot, which gave him 4/10. The outlet focused on the spaces left behind the Moroccan full-back during Rennes’ transitions. It also highlighted his numerous forward runs, but felt that his crosses too rarely found a teammate.

CulturePSG placed him between the two with a 5/10. The specialist website observed greater energy for an hour, while regretting Hakimi’s lack of precision when finishing off attacks.

The same match, two opposing readings

At the other end of the scale, ParisFans awarded Achraf Hakimi a generous 7/10. The outlet highlighted his impressive activity, his defensive recoveries and a chance created for Ousmane Dembélé. In the 37th minute, the Moroccan had indeed played the ball to his teammate in an ideal position, but the latter sent his shot over the goal.

Hakimi accelerated again down his wing in the 76th minute before finding Torres, whose lay-off created a favorable opportunity for Désiré Doué. This new chance was not converted either. The full-back then received a yellow card in the 84th minute and lacked precision with his final crossing attempts.
