Each of them will be seeking to qualify for the prestigious Glory Heavyweight Grand Prix, an eight-man tournament that will take place in December. The winner of this tournament will walk away with $500,000.

Badr Hari’s last fight was in October 2022. He had been defeated by Alistar Overeem, but the result of this fight was later canceled. Glory officials revealed that Overeem had tested positive for a banned substance. His challenger, James McSweeney, for his part, defeated the Muay Thai world and European champion, Buğra Erdoğan, last December.
