Juventus Targets Barcelona’s Rising Star Ezzalzouli After AFCON U-23 Success
Juventus Turin wants to secure the services of Abdessamad Ezzalzouli. FC Barcelona is asking for 15 million euros to let their Moroccan prodigy go, who has just won the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco.
The Italian club is interested in the 21-year-old Moroccan winger who is in great form this season. After a year on loan at Osasuna where he helped the club reach the Copa del Rey final, Abde Ezzalzouli was the top scorer and top passer of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations that he just won with Morocco. FC Barcelona is willing to let the young player go for 15 million euros, reports Tuttomercatoweb.com.
For now, Juve has not made any offer to Barça regarding Abde Ezzalzouli who has already been called up by Xavi Hernández for pre-season. The Turin club, led by Massimiliano Allegri, is closely following the evolution of the Moroccan international who scored six goals and provided two assists during his stint at Osasuna, earning the admiration of Jagoba Arrasate and the supporters of El Sadar.
Barça would make a good deal if they received an offer of 25 to 30 million euros. But the Moroccan winger, whose contract with FC Barcelona runs until 2026, would be ready to leave the Blaugrana to grow, aware that he will not get playing time next season.
