Barcelona Prospect Ezzalzouli Cuts Vacation Short for Pre-Season Return

After an exceptional season at Osasuna, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli wants to prove that he deserves his place at FC Barcelona. The 21-year-old Moroccan winger, who has just won the Africa Cup of Nations under-23 with Morocco, is ready to sacrifice his vacation to participate in the pre-season with the Blaugrana.
Abde Ezzalzouli particularly shone during his one-year loan to Osasuna. Under the orders of Jagoba Arrasate who considers him a "genius", the young Moroccan revealed all his talent, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists in 34 official matches. The Navarrese club would have wanted to extend his loan contract, but Barça, having closely followed the progress of its Moroccan prodigy, has other plans for him, reports Mundo Deportivo.
With his performance at El Sadar and at the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations which he just won as top scorer and captain, Ezzalzouli is attracting the interest of several major Premier League, Bundesliga, Betis and Juventus Turin clubs. But the heart of the Moroccan international beats only for Barça and, since his arrival at the club, he has never ceased to prove his ambition and his desire to succeed.
Before his loan to Osasuna, Abde Ezzalzouli extended his contract with Barça until 2026. He intends to take advantage of this pre-season to convince Xavi Hernandez. But first, he will be at Barça’s training on Monday, July 17, and will participate in the tour in the United States. The 21-year-old Moroccan winger is ready to fight for his dream, that of joining the first team and establishing himself as the sole striker alongside the goalscorer Robert Lewandowski.
