Illegal Cosmetic Surgery Ring Busted in Marrakech: French and Turkish Suspects Arrested

They are suspected of carrying out secret activities consisting of performing cosmetic surgery operations in a clandestine and unauthorized manner, in an apartment located in the Guéliz district. There is even an operating room in their apartment. During the search, the investigators seized several relevant elements for the investigation, including documents making it possible to identify the type of surgical operations carried out clandestinely in the unauthorized clinic and to determine the identity and nationality of the patients.

On the orders of the Marrakech prosecutor’s office, the five suspects were taken into custody. For now, the judicial police are continuing their investigations to identify the other members involved in this transcontinental network that has chosen to transfer its activities to Marrakech, a tourist destination popular with visitors from around the world.
