French Nationals Arrested in Marrakech for Violent Assault on Compatriot

Two French nationals suspected of assaulting a man were arrested in Marrakech and placed in custody. An investigation is underway to shed light on this assault.
They are no longer free to move about. They are two French citizens, one of Moroccan origin and the other from a sub-Saharan African country, arrested by the judicial police elements of Marrakech. They are said to have physically assaulted, beaten and threatened to kill another Frenchman, also of Moroccan origin. The latter filed a complaint after being beaten and threatened in the garage of his home.
Thanks to the video recording of the incident, which was added to the file, the police were quickly able to identify and arrest the suspects. During the searches carried out at the homes of the accused, the investigators seized knives, metal batons, a mask intended to hide their identity, as well as various Moroccan and foreign identity documents.
Previous disputes that occurred in France would be at the origin of this physical assault. Pending the clarification of this case, the two suspects have been placed in custody under the supervision of the Moroccan justice system.
