Marrakech Police Bust Burglary Ring, Recover Stolen Luxury Items and Cash

The Marrakech police services have arrested three individuals accused of burglarizing homes and taking away sums of money, jewelry and luxury watches during the holidays and weekends.
The three defendants were arrested during an operation carried out by the anti-gang brigade, in coordination with the criminal intelligence brigade, according to sources at Hespress. This police dragnet follows an investigation opened for aggravated theft, which made it possible to identify and locate the accused, including a repeat offender, wanted at the national level for a similar case.
The defendants are accused of four aggravated thefts. They admitted the facts during their interrogation. A search carried out in a garage allowed the seizure of tools used by these thieves to commit their crimes as well as stolen objects. The three suspects were placed in custody on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, pending the conclusion of the investigation opened to shed full light on this case.
