Deadly Bootleg Alcohol Claims 3 Lives, Sickens 18 in Kenitra Province

Three people died and 18 others are under medical supervision after consuming adulterated alcohol in Sidi Allal Tazi, in the province of Kenitra.
The investigation opened by the Royal Gendarmerie to shed light on this case has made it possible to identify and arrest two suspects, aged 41 and 21. The defendants, who have also consumed this harmful product, have been placed under medical supervision at the provincial hospital of Kenitra, inform the local authorities. After their recovery, they will be the subject of a judicial investigation for their alleged involvement in the manufacture and sale of adulterated alcohol.
The investigation, conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, continues to shed full light on this case which has cost the lives of two people and to arrest all the suspects involved in these criminal acts. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death of the victims.
