Eight Moroccan Universities Make Times Higher Education Global Ranking

For the year 2022, eight Moroccan universities are featured in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking, which covers the 1,000 best universities in the world, from 106 countries.
These are Ibn Tofail of Kénitra, the International University of Rabat, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Euromed University of Fès, Hassan II University of Casablanca, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah of Fès, 1st Hassan University and Abdelmalek Essaâdi of Tétouan-Tanger.
At the African level, Egypt leads the ranking with 36 universities, followed by Nigeria with 9 universities. Then come Morocco and South Africa (eight universities each), Ghana (six universities), Tunisia and Algeria (five universities each). Finally, Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia appear with one university each in this THE 2022 ranking.
