Shanghai Ranking: No Moroccan Universities Among World’s Top 1,000 as US Dominates List

No Moroccan university is on the list of the 1,000 best universities in the world. This is the result of the latest 2022 academic ranking of Shanghai.
The Shanghai Ranking Consultancy organization made public on Monday, August 15, its ranking of the 1,000 best universities in the world. American universities have once again dominated the ranking. Harvard retains the first place for the 20th consecutive year, followed by Stanford (2nd) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (3rd). Then come the University of Cambridge, the University of California (Berkeley), Princeton, Oxford and Columbia. California Institute of Technology and the University of Chicago complete the top 10.
At the MENA level, no university is present in the top 50. At the European level, the first non-Anglo-Saxon institution in the ranking remains French. It is the University of Paris-Saclay (16th) which has lost three places.
