Moroccan Universities Absent from 2020 Shanghai Global Rankings

No Moroccan university is present on the list of the world’s 1,000 universities. This is what we unfortunately note in the latest 2020 academic ranking of Shanghai.
At the MENA level, universities in Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon are featured in this ranking. A total of 12 universities ranked.
American universities dominate the 2020 Shanghai ranking. Harvard retains the first place for the 18th consecutive year, followed by Stanford (2nd) and Cambridge (3rd).
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of California (Berkeley), Princeton, Columbia, California Institute of Technology and the University of Chicago are in the top 10. As for the University of Oxford, it is in 9th place.
At the European level, the University of Paris-Saclay ranked 14th is at the head of the pack. In Asia, the University of Tokyo (26th) maintains its status as a leader.
