Drunk Drivers Arrested After Fleeing Police, Injuring Pedestrian and Officers in Salé

Two individuals were arrested and brought before the prosecutor’s office on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 for alleged public drunkenness and violence in Salé.
The two suspects are also accused of drunk driving, refusing to comply with police orders and intentional violence. They were arrested while drunk in a vehicle and trying to evade a check. In their flight, they hit a man and two police officers, explains the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release.
These facts were filmed and the video was published on social networks. This is what allowed them to be confronted. Before being brought before the prosecutor’s office, an investigation was conducted to determine their responsibilities in this case.
