Two Arrested in Morocco for Dancing on Police Car, Inciting Crime on Social Media

Two young men aged 23 and 24 were arrested on Tuesday in Ouled Sidi Chennane by the judicial police elements of Béni Mellal, for attacking security, the integrity of citizens, and inciting criminal acts.
A few days ago, a video was circulated on social media, in which the two young men were seen dancing on the roof of a police vehicle, inciting citizens to commit criminal acts. In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the incriminating video was first broadcast on Monday evening.
The authorities concerned have carried out the necessary investigations in order to identify the suspects as well as the two girls aged 16 and 32 who filmed and posted the video in Fkih Ben Saleh. They were questioned by the judicial police brigade as part of this case.
As for the two suspects, they were placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to identify all the circumstances of this case, as well as the criminal acts attributed to them, in addition to the attack on security and the integrity of citizens.
